Role Overview:
We are looking for a Product Analyst Intern who brings a unique blend of analytical curiosity, data storytelling, and a design thinking/product mindset. Sitting at the intersection of product, engineering, and business strategy, you will help translate raw user behavior into intuitive self-serve dashboards, automated alerts, and compelling visual narratives. You can uniquely leverage your understanding of how users interact with layouts, hierarchies, and visual cues to transform complex metrics into decision-ready visual stories that help us build better features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dashboard Design & Self-Serve BI: Design, layout, and maintain scalable, automated product dashboards (using tools like Google Data Studio, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI) prioritizing information architecture, visual hierarchy, and readability so stakeholders spot trends at a glance.
- User Journey Mapping & Behavioral Analysis: Apply user empathy to analyze behavior data (funnels, drop-offs, clicks) against the actual UI/UX design to find out where users face friction.
- Analytical Storytelling: Combine complex data tables with strong design fundamentals to produce high-context, narrative-driven analyses and charts that explain what happened and why.
- Experimentation & Deep Dives: Support A/B tests and cohort segmentations, ensuring visual changes on the app/website (colors, layouts, button placements) are clearly measured and visualized for cross-functional teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a creative and analytical bridge between Product Management, UX Design, and Data Engineering teams to align on metric tracking and user experience.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a DKV (Desain Komunikasi Visual), Product Design (S.Ds), Interactive Design, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- A strong product mindset with a passion for understanding app mechanics, user empathy, and why digital products succeed or fail.
- Deep knowledge of visual hierarchy, layout structuring, typography, and UI/UX principles.
- Familiarity with design and collaboration tools like Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
- Basic familiarity or an eager willingness to learn data tools (Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, or BI tools like Tableau/Data Studio).
- An analytical mindset—you naturally enjoy asking questions about user choices and behavioral flows.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
- [Plus] basic familiarity with crafting UI/UX for banking or fintech key visuals or products
